Select →"As a lifelong Londoner, I have always enjoyed taking day trips to its most stunning areas. It has only been as an adult trying to pay my way in life that I have appreciated how gargantuanly expensive they really are. Recently, while strolling through Kensington, I began to fantasise about what sort of people could possibly afford to buy property there, and this fascination inspired me to develop a screenplay.
Added to my interest is my background as the child of housing lawyers, whose job is to help those on the opposite end of the social spectrum find homes. Our society produces an elite class of absentee owners while many live on the streets, and I feel passionate about illustrating this juxtaposition through cinema."
